Budget woes

“California’s continuing budget woes reflected in a projected $20 billion shortfall over the next year have voters in a cynical mood. A poll for the Public Policy Institute of California finds that 74% of Californians think that the state is headed in the wrong direction.” It’s only 74%? Who out there in their right mind thinks it’s headed in the right direction? Well, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Yeah, you got enough people on the dole out there that you probably have that percentage think the state’s headed in the right direction ’cause everything’s fine with them. (sigh) But for those of you 74% who think the state’s going on in the wrong direction, it’s your own fault. You elected ’em. You elected the liberals running the place for all these years. If you want to fix it can be get rid of the liberals running the place. It’s very, very simple.”
