Weekend update

Quote from a recent Tea Party, “Someone said in the Revolutionary War, they fired bullets. This time, we’re firing politicians.”

George Carlin once said, “When fascism comes to America, it will not be in brown and black shirts. It will not be with jackboots. It will be Nike sneakers and smiley shirts.”

The U.S. Army recently uninvited the Reverend Franklin Graham from participating in a prayer service at the Pentagon because his presence would offend Muslims. This is the same Army that let an Islamist nut-job psychiatrist preach hate and consort with terrorists until the day he shot up Fort Hood…and also because they didn’t want to offend Muslims.

According to some members of a strange cult in the middle east, promiscuous women cause earthquakes.

Arlington Cemetery is not filled with men who died fighting for anyone’s right to not be insulted.

Article 67 of Mexico’s Population Law says, “Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal … are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues.”

Sarah Palin just had a 26th Ethics charge dismissed as meritless. This specific baseless complaint dealt with a legal defense fund set up after she left office to pay her legal defenses for the other 25 baseless ethics charges.

MSNBC recently aired a graphic about the new Arizona law, “Law makes it a crime to be illegal immigrant.”

Mark Steyn writes, “Almost every claim made for the benefits of mass immigration is false. Europeans were told that they needed immigrants to help prop up their otherwise unaffordable social entitlements: In reality, Turks in Germany have three times the rate of welfare dependency as ethnic Germans, and their average retirement age is 50. Two-thirds of French imams are on the dole.”

France is taking a very hard line against men who force women to wear the niqab or the burqa. A man who puts his wife under such pressure will be given one year’s imprisonment or a fine of €15,000 (US $20,000).
